Craisin Glazed Steak

Ingredients:

2 boneless beef top loin steaks, cut 1-in thick
1/2 cup Craisins
1 large garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup water

Combine Craisins, onion, garlic, brown sugar, dry mustard, and pepper in a food processor, process until finely chopped. Add liquid smoke, oil, chili sauce, and water. Process until well mixed. Transfer glaze to a small saucepan. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place steaks on a broiler rack (use non-stick cooking spray) or on the BBQ grill. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Broil or grill steaks for 7 minutes. Turn steaks, spread top and sides with glaze. Broil or grill for additional 7 minutes or until desired doneness.

Yield 4 servings
