Biggest Berry Contest - Think you've got the biggest cranberry? Weigh in at our Biggest Berry contest for a chance to win a ribbon and prize! Biggest Berry Contest Sponsor: Potter Cranberry Company, Warrens, WI.

Cranberry Chiffon Pie Eating Contest - Enter the Festival's very own pie eating contest!  The first participant to finish their whole pie (without using their hands) wins a free sweatshirt!  

 

Flower Contest - Show off your best blooms in this year's flower show for a chance to win a ribbon and prize!  



Marsh Medallion Hunt - Find the hidden medallion on Festival grounds and win a cash prize!  Clues are given the week of the Festival, until the medallion is found.  Join in the Quest at the Fest!   

Photography Contest - This contest draws numerous entries each year.  Show off your photography skills for a chance to win a ribbon or gift certificate.    



Pictorial Cancellation Contest - Design the official postmark for this year's Festival and win cash prize.  



Quilt and Needlework Contest - Get crafty with this sewing and needlework competition for a chance to win a ribbon and prize. 



Scarecrow Contest - Feeling Creative?  Show off your unique scarecrow design and win a ribbon or cash prize. 



Vegetable and Sunflower Contest - Show off your most unusual and spectacular vegetables and sunflowers in this contest and win a ribbon or special prize!  



Video Contest - Create your own video using footage from the 2014 Warrens Cranberry Festival and win cash prizes.

Warrens Cranberry Festival Photography & Video Contest Rules Available Now

The Warrens Cranberry Festival Photography & Video Contest rules are available now.

Photography Contest:

This contest is for amateur photographers, one who cultivates any art or pursuit for the enjoyment of it, instead of professionally or for financial gain.  Color or black & white photos may be submitted.

Categories:

1. Wisconsin Cranberry Marsh (includes crop & harvest)                    

2. Highlight Pictures from Warrens Cranberry Festival

3. Wisconsin Flower & Plant Life

4. Wildlife of Wisconsin

5. Scenery of Wisconsin

6. People of Wisconsin

Prizes for 1^st place will be a gift certificate in each category.  Best of Show, 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place

winners will all receive a ribbon. The contest entry deadline is September 3, 2013. 

Video Contest:

Create your own video footage from this year’s Warrens Cranberry Festival.

All videos must

1. Be 30 seconds in length.

2. Be taken at the 2013 Warrens Cranberry Festival, in Warrens or mention the Festival.

3. Be submitted via YouTube - send your link of your video to cranfest@cranfest.com 

Videos will be judged on creativity, message clarity and relevance to the Warrens Cranberry Festival, and overall impact.  All winning videos will be placed on the Warrens Cranberry Festival’s YouTube Channel.

Beginning October 1, 2013, but prior to February 1, 2014.  Video registration forms can be retrieved from the Festival website.  Go to www.cranfest.com and click on the Events Tab, then click on the Contests Page, scroll down to the Video Contest to print and fill out the registration form.  Please fill out the registration form and agree to the terms and conditions.

Each participant or group may submit up to two (2) entries.  If the entry is a group submission, please designate one individual as the contact for the group; that person will be contacted to receive the award, if the group entry is selected.  Entries must be received no later than February 1, 2014.  Late entries will not be eligible for prizes.

The Warrens Cranberry Festival reserves the right to reject any or all videos based on content.  No

vulgarity, profanity or nudity is permitted.  This is a family festival and inappropriate material will not be tolerated.

Prizes:  1^st place- $100 2^nd place- $50 3^rd place- $25

Winners of the 2012 Warrens Cranberry Festival Video Contest Chosen

Warrens Cranberry Festival announces the winners of the 2012 Video Contest.

Hunter Hart, Tomah, WI - won 1st Prize
Donavon Gomez, Tomah, WI - won 2nd Prize

Both Hunter and Donavon attend the Tomah High School and submitted their entries as part of a class project in the Advanced Media Production Class.  The Media Productions is an advanced class which allows students to learn video productions ranging from scripts and storyboards to documentaries and other media.  The class is taught by Brian Kibby.

The Video Contest gives individuals the opportunity to create their own video using footage from the Warrens Cranberry Festival.

The videos can be no longer than 2 minutes in length, must be taken at the Warrens Cranberry Festival, and submitted in .avi, .mov, .mpg or .wmv format.

Prizes awarded: 
1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $50
3rd Place - $25

Warrens Premier Night A HUGE Success!!

Warrens, WI will appear in an upcoming episode of the award winning television show, Discover Wisconsin. "Warrens - The Cranberry's Big Gig" will air Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 10 a.m. on Fox Sports North (FSN) and Fox Sports Wisconsin (FSW) and the same time on ComCast Sports Chicago. It also airs Sunday, August 14, 2011, at 5 p.m. on WXOW TV 19 (ABC) in La Crosse and WQOW TV 18 (ABC) in Eau Claire.

A little over 300 people attended the Warrens Premier Night at Three Bears Lodge, in Warrens, WI. There was great food, fun prizes and even a special taped message from Governor Scott Walker. Special guests included Stephanie Klett, Wisconsin's Secretary of Tourism and former host of Discover Wisconsin and Greg Smith, Broadcast Sales, Discover Wisconsin.

2010 Video Contest - NEW!!!

New for 2010, create your own video footage from the 2010 Warrens Cranberry Festival.

All Videos Must:

1. Be no longer than 2 minutes
2. Be taken at the 2010 Warrens Cranberry Festival
3. Be submitted in .avi, .mov., mpg or .wmv format
4. Not exceed 7MB

All Videos will be judged on creativity, message clarity and relevance to the Warrens Cranberry Festival and overall impact.

Submit your entry by dropping or mailing a DVD disk. Mailing Address: PO Box 146, Warrens, WI 54666. Street Address: 402 Pine Street, Warrens. Or you can email the completed video to office@cranfest.com All entries must include, name, mailing address and telephone number.

Entry Deadline: November 1, 2010
