"Healthy Recipes Always Call For Cranberries!"
The 43rd annual Warrens Cranberry Festival Recipe Contest invites you to create a unique recipe using cranberries! A recipe may be submitted for bread, main dish, dessert, snack, beverage, salad, soup, jam, jelly, etc.Each recipe must contain fresh or processed cranberries.
This contest is open to all cooks 8 years of age and older, except professional chefs. You do not need to be a Wisconsin resident to enter.
New and imaginative uses for cranberries are encouraged. A recipe inspired by a friend or relative, a package label, a cookbook, or other source is eligible.
Contestants may submit a maximum of two recipes in each division. A contestant may have only one recipe selected for the final competition.
Finalists will be selected from each division. The competition will take place on Friday September 25, 2015 at the Warrens Cranberry Festival Office (402 Pine Street, Warrens) between 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Judging will begin at 11:30 a.m. and winners must be present to be eligible for prizes.
Contest sponsors are F&M Bank of Tomah and Kitchen Craft Cookware. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners of each category. Winners will be awarded - $75, $50, and $25 gift cards - sponsored by F&M Bank and pieces of cookware - sponsored by Kitchen Craft Cookware.
Deadline for entries: May 29, 2015 - entries received after this date will be ineligible.
