Do you know what a pictorial cancellation is? Neither did I until I worked here! A pictorial cancellation is simply another term for a postmark. And you have the opportunity to design your very own postmark in Warrens Cranberry Festival's pictorial cancellation contest!The pictorial cancellation will be a limited edition postmark unique to Warrens Cranberry Festival. The festival was the first in the 546/559 zip codes to begin the special postmark. The winner of the contest will receive a $25 Series E Savings Bond sponsored by the festival.
The deadline for contest entries is July 1, 2010. All entries must be postmarked by this date to qualify for judging. All entries will be judged by art professionals, cranberry growers, Cranfest board members or people in the field of pictorial cancellation design. Winners will be announced the week after judging.
